At Munich, Zelenskyy Declares Ukraine's Military Europe's Strongest.
Zelenskyy's Address at the Munich Security Conference
According to Novyny.live: Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on February 14, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asserted the strength of his nation's armed forces. He emphasized that, due to the heroism of its soldiers, Ukraine's military is now the most powerful in Europe. His remarks come as Ukraine continues to defend itself against a full-scale invasion, highlighting the transformation of its armed forces under fire.
Zelenskyy further argued that it is illogical to keep such an army outside of NATO, stressing that this decision should not be influenced by pressure from Russia.
"It simply makes no sense to keep this army outside of NATO. But let this be your decision, not Putin's," he underscored.
Ukraine's Drive for Closer NATO Ties
President Zelenskyy's statements in Munich reflect Ukraine's ambition to solidify its international standing and advocate for deeper cooperation with the NATO alliance. With the ongoing conflict against Russia, the issue of Ukraine's potential membership remains a critical and timely factor for shaping Europe's future security architecture.
By highlighting the prowess of the Ukrainian military, Zelenskyy also aims to secure sustained support from Western partners in countering aggression and ensuring regional stability.
