Zelenskyy’s Response to Iranian Threats: A Nation Accustomed to Pressure

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed warnings from Iran, stating that his country has been operating under similar conditions for the past four years. He emphasized that Ukraine remains unfazed, having received numerous such communications over that period.

“Listen, there’s nothing new here. Over these four years, I’ve heard all kinds of messages. We are not afraid of such statements,” he asserted.

The president also addressed the deepening military ties between Russia and Iran, noting that Tehran supplied Moscow with its first batch of 1,000 drones roughly four years ago. This revelation underscores the growing alliance between the two nations, a development that has raised alarms in Kyiv.

On the diplomatic front, Zelenskyy confirmed that three teams of Ukrainian experts have been deployed to the Middle East.

“Now it depends on the countries—how they will use our expertise and how they will share information with us,” he remarked.
He stressed the critical role of international collaboration in tackling regional challenges.

Tensions escalated after Iran threatened Ukraine with retaliation, accusing Kyiv of aiding Israel. In response, Ukrainian official Heorhiy Tykhyi dismissed the allegations as absurd. “Heorhiy Tykhyi called such statements absurd,” Zelenskyy noted, commenting on the reaction to Iran’s claims.

In essence, the Ukrainian leader reaffirmed the country’s readiness to confront any Iranian threats while continuing to strengthen partnerships with global allies to safeguard national security.

Zelenskyy’s remarks highlight Ukraine’s resilience amid new challenges, particularly as Iran-Russia military cooperation intensifies. The growing need for international support and knowledge exchange becomes increasingly evident as regional tensions rise. Ukraine’s firm stance against Iranian threats further demonstrates its commitment to protecting its sovereignty and security interests.
