Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Mark Rutte to align positions before international meetings. Contacts with Trump and Macron were discussed.
'Once again emphasized that I am grateful for President Trump's decisiveness, and this is exactly what can help,' noted Volodymyr Zelensky on social media.
Zelensky stressed the importance of European unity and the common goal of strengthening and preparing Europe for self-defense.
The President emphasized the need for more frequent meetings to achieve a just peace. 'Our shared goal is to make a real and fair cessation of Russian aggression possible by next year,' Zelensky emphasized.
'Only Putin wants this war - no one else. We must do everything we can to ensure he can no longer kill,' summed up Volodymyr Zelensky.
