The measures, published on the presidential office's website under numbers №447/2026 and №448/2026, target 120 individuals and entities.
The expanded restrictions add 16 Russian citizens and 31 companies based in Russia, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Among the sanctioned businesses are 'Atlant Aero' and 'Irz-Svyaz'. The list also includes three Russian nationals:
- Lyudmila Balandina
- Dmitry Gordeev
- Maria Sittel
In a broader geographic scope, the sanctions also apply to 19 Iranian citizens, 7 Sudanese nationals, and 11 Iranian companies. These restrictions are set to remain in effect until May 28, 2027.
Vladyslav Vlasiuk commented on the situation, stating: 'Work is currently underway on the next rounds of restrictions, including the upcoming 21st EU sanctions package.'
These new measures are part of coordinated international efforts to counter Russia's aggressive policies and those of its allies. They underscore the ongoing global pressure on Moscow amid the protracted conflict, reflecting Ukraine's commitment to strengthening its own security while supporting a broader coalition aimed at restoring peace in the region.
The sanctions also highlight Ukraine's active collaboration with international partners to tighten economic and political constraints on Russia and its enablers, reinforcing the message that the international community remains united in its response.
