The sanctions targeted individuals who assist in justifying aggression and pay taxes to the occupiers. Among those sanctioned were former members of the Ukrainian parliament and a Ukrainian producer. Zelensky emphasized that this is just the beginning and further sanctions will be adopted.
In total, 13 individuals and 8 companies have been included in the new sanctions list, of which 6 are registered in Cyprus and 2 in Russia.
'This is just the beginning of significant work on sanctions against these individuals. The information received from the special services demands a fundamental response against them. New sanctions decisions will be made soon,' Zelensky emphasized.
