Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation for negotiations with the Russian Federation.
'To form a delegation of Ukraine for participation in the negotiation process with Ukraine's international partners, as well as with representatives of the Russian Federation regarding achieving a just and sustainable peace (July 23, 2025, Istanbul, Republic of Turkey)', — it is stated in the decree.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has finally decided to sit at the negotiating table with Russia. The delegation representing the Ukrainian side has already departed for Istanbul. The negotiations are expected to discuss key issues that are important for peace in the region.
The Ukrainian delegation includes high-ranking officials from various spheres of government, including the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as various military units. This underscores the seriousness and importance of these negotiations for Ukraine. It is crucial to seek compromise and ways to resolve the conflict at this moment.
The other side, the press secretary of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, announced the end of the war in Ukraine, which raises ambiguous reactions and suspicions. All expectations are now directed at the negotiations in Istanbul and their results.
