Zelensky refuted Trump’s statement about 4% trust

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, countered Donald Trump’s claim that only 4% of Ukrainians trust him. He reminded everyone of a recent rating from KMIS, which indicates that 57% of citizens of Ukraine trust him. Zelensky stated that the information about 4% trust comes from Russia and was discussed between the US and Russia.

'We understand this and have evidence that these figures are being discussed between America and Russia. Unfortunately, President Trump... lives in a disinformation space,' Zelensky stated.

The president also emphasized the importance of protecting Ukraine from Russian shelling and returning prisoners of war. He expressed dissatisfaction that the Trump administration is 'softening its policy' towards Russia, as it refers to the war as a 'conflict' and does not respond to his inquiries regarding the increase in the number of Patriots.

Zelensky also announced a social survey on trust in him, Trump, and other politicians, as well as discussed Ukraine's expenses on armament during the war.

The president stressed that he will defend his country until Ukraine joins the EU and NATO. He also noted that the current policy of the US is bringing Putin and Russia out of isolation as aggressors.

Zelensky called for unity in defending Ukraine and emphasized that the country is returning to normalcy after the war.
