Zelensky on Russian missiles in Belarus: Ukraine is preparing a joint response.
According to ТСН: The deployment of Russian "Oreshnik" missile systems on the territory of Belarus poses a threat to global security, and Ukraine is already working on a joint reaction to these actions together with international partners.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on social media, referring to new information from the Foreign Intelligence Service.
"Intelligence has gained more details about this, and it is important that partners also know about it and take it into account in their defensive actions. We believe that the aggressive spread of such weapons poses a global threat and creates a dangerous precedent. I have instructed to prepare options for responses together with partners," the president emphasized.
He also noted that the new intelligence data contains detailed information about the presence and specifics of the placement of these systems in the neighboring country.
Production of ballistic missiles
According to intelligence information, Russia is increasing production of "Oreshnik" ballistic missiles, which is part of its strategy to enhance military capability.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed details of the placement of "Oreshnik" in Belarus.
In addition, it was reported that the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, hopes to receive ten "Oreshnik" missile systems from Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
In the current situation, the actions of Ukraine's international partners are crucial, as in light of new threats, they may consider additional measures to ensure security in the region. The strengthening of Russia's military capability in Belarus underscores the necessity of rejecting aggression and consolidating efforts to counter potential challenges.
