Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the USA presented a draft agreement on minerals.

He stated this after meeting with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

The Ukrainian side plans to study the document before making a decision. 'I will do everything on my part to ensure our team of government officials works over the next two days so that we have the opportunity to formalize specific agreements already in Munich,' said the President of Ukraine. According to the President, the draft does not concern resources in territories occupied by Russia.

According to Bloomberg, Bessent became the first cabinet member of Trump to visit Ukraine. The visit takes place as part of the beginning of negotiations about American companies' access to the development of Ukrainian minerals.

Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz confirmed that the future of aid to Ukraine will be discussed this week. According to him, the conversation will be about partnership in the field of rare earth metals, natural resources, oil, and gas in Ukraine, as well as about purchasing American products.
