At the beginning of the month, information appeared in the media that the artist began to defend Ukraine, but Kyrylo has not yet confirmed or denied these rumors. Official statement about service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Recently, Hanin published an official message on his photoblog, confirming that he indeed joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Against the backdrop of suspicions about untruth and rumors of conscription exemption, he expressed his opinion on the activity of his critics while in military uniform.
“Yes, I have seen these comments. Everyone has their own abilities - some work, while others just hate. And interestingly, the latter always consider themselves more busy. I made the decision to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Not for hype, not for a video, and not because someone needs it. This is my decision. My 'need'. I heard all of you and I'm going to do what I dared to do. Officially! This is definitely not a fake,” emphasized the comedian.
The details of his service are still kept private, but he promises to share them during his future livestreams on the network.
Thus, Kyrylo Hanin joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, surprising his fans. His decision reflects the willingness of many Ukrainian artists and stars to take an active part in the defense of the country. It also indicates the growing awareness of society regarding the role of culture in wartime, as artists, more than anyone else, can inspire and support their people in difficult times.
