In March 2024, the accused sent a request to one of his acquaintances to provide information about a Territorial Recruitment Center employee, which ended up in other chats, resulting in the dissemination of unofficial data about the Territorial Recruitment Center employees.
While listening to the verdict, the man deeply regretted his actions and explained that he acted irresponsibly and did not realize the possible consequences. He claimed that he did not evade mobilization, took care of his family, and was the guardian of his disabled brother.
The Court's Decision
The court decided to sentence the man to five years in prison, but this term was replaced with a two-year probation period. It was also decided to confiscate his smartphone, from which he sent the controversial messages.
A court session took place in the Volyn region, during which a decision was made in the case of the man who spread information about the whereabouts of Territorial Recruitment Center and Security Service employees using the Viber messenger.
