OpenAI has presented a new mode of ChatGPT - Deep Research, designed for conducting 'deep research'. In this mode, developers combined the GPT-03 model with a web search function, allowing for detailed information on every step of the research, including graphs and illustrations.

Deep Research not only provides textual information but can also respond to information in real time if necessary. With this mode, users can input the research topic in text format or attach files.

Search options in Deep Research can take varying amounts of time, from a few minutes to several hours. It is important to note that the mode has its limitations and may sometimes provide inaccurate results.

Currently, Deep Research is available only for paid ChatGPT Pro subscribers with a limit of 100 generations per month. However, in the future, the company plans to include this mode in the Plus subscription, which allows for 10 uses per month.

OpenAI also emphasized the importance of protecting its intellectual property and noted the need for cooperation with the US authorities to safeguard American technologies from competitors and external threats.
