Ukraine and the USA are preparing for an agreement on rare earth metals and minerals
Today, April 29, representatives of Ukraine and the USA will hold negotiations on signing an agreement regarding rare earth metals and minerals. Discussions will take place at both the government level and between the technical teams of both countries.
According to the Office of the President of Ukraine, the signing of the document could happen 'very soon', as the agreement is practically ready and only technical details remain.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal emphasized that American assistance provided before the signing of the agreement will not be considered within the framework of this agreement.
President of the USA Donald Trump stated the necessity of 'immediate signing' of the agreement on rare earth metals by Ukraine. It should be noted that the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko mentioned that some aspects of the agreement are still being discussed.
