UAF Operation in Russia

Recently, Russian troops conducted two mechanized counterattacks, resulting in minor advancement in the area of the "Ukrainian bridgehead" in Kursk Oblast.

Geolocation footage from October 30 shows the UAF repelling a Russian mechanized platoon-sized attack west of Pohrebky. This indicates a minor advancement of Russian forces in this area, according to the report.

Additional geolocated videos from October 31 show that Russian troops launched a counterattack east of Lyubymivka and slightly advanced in this direction.

One Russian "military reporter" reported the capture of Lyubymivka, but other bloggers state that fighting continues. The UAF hold some positions near Lyubymivka and south of Olhivka.

Fighting also continues near Novo Shlyakh, Dar'ina, Martynivka, Novoiivanivka, Zelenyi Shlyakh, and Plekhova.

Kharkiv Region

Russian invaders continue limited offensive actions in the north of Kharkiv region near Vovchansk on October 30 and 31, but failed to advance.

A spokesperson for the UAF brigade operating in the Kharkiv direction stated on October 31 that Ukrainian forces successfully repel shelling from Russian infantry in this region. It was also noted the use of unarmored vehicles by Russian forces during attacks.

Russian "military correspondents" reported that the UAF is conducting a counterattack near Hlybokhyi.

Luhansk Region

Russian occupiers advanced southeast of Kupyansk and west of Svatove.

Geolocation footage from October 31 indicates advancement of RF troops west of Stelmakhivka. Other footage shows that Russian forces might capture the northern part of Krugliakivka.

On October 30 and 31, Russian "war correspondents" claimed that RF units advanced west of Stelmakhivka and reached the administrative border of the Luhansk region. But ISW found no confirmation of these claims.

Also, on October 30 and 31, Russian sources reported an advance of RF troops north of Kupyansk in the Synykyvka area. However, ISW experts found no visual evidence supporting these claims.

The UAF General Staff reported that the occupiers continue their advance in the areas of Kindrashivka, Synykyvka, Petropavlivka, Pervomayske, Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Krugliakivka, Zahryzove, Berestove, Katerynivka, Bohuslavka, Lozova, Stepove, Novoselivka, Vyshneve, Zelenyi Hai, Druzelubivka, and Hrekivka, as well as in the vicinity of Terni, Zarechne, and the Serebryanske forestry.

Russian "war correspondents" reported that Russian troops were positioned east of Stupochky and south of Chasiv Yar. But ISW found no confirmation of these claims.

A spokesperson for the UAF brigade operating near Chasiv Yar stated that Russian units sometimes cross the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas Canal but cannot significantly advance due to Ukrainian resistance.

One Russian blogger noted that rainy weather in the Chasiv Yar area complicates troop movements.

RF troops slightly advanced east and southeast of Pokrovsk. Geolocation footage from October 31 shows that occupiers advanced south of Novotoretske and northwest of Selydove.
