The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a massive assault in the Siversky direction, destroying dozens of invaders.

In the Siversky direction, the troops of the Edelweiss mountain assault brigade repelled a massive assault by Russian invaders. The enemy made 8 attempts to break through, but all attacks were stopped with significant losses for the enemy. This was reported by the official channel of the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia'.

Results of the combat actions:

• Eliminated: 52 invaders, 37 wounded.
• Destroyed equipment: 4 BMPs, 13 motorcycles, 4 buggies, 1 MT-LB, 28 FPV kamikaze drones, 1 120 mm mortar, 1 automotive unit, 1 kamikaze drone 'Privit 82'.

'The enemy once again realized that attempts to capture the positions of our defenders come at a high cost to them. Our warriors are an indomitable wall that protects the country from invaders,' the military summed up.

It is reminded that Ukrainian troops have regained lost positions near Vovchansk. Russian troops advanced near Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Robotyne, and in Kursk region.

Also, Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Kursk region, particularly south of Daryna.

Moreover, Russian troops are entering Toretsk in small groups, trying to establish themselves in buildings, but they are suffering significant losses.
