The Armed Forces of Ukraine have completed the transition to a corps structure: what this changes on the front.
According to inkorr.com: The Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully completed the transition to a corps structure, as reported by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Hnatov. He pointed out that all new corps are already carrying out tasks within the defined groupings. However, this process has been accompanied by certain difficulties related to staffing, training, and internal changes.
“The nuances are related to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly undergo changes as a complex mechanism,” Hnatov explained.
Hnatov also noted that the General Staff has carried out significant work to prepare ten new corps administrations simultaneously, involving the most qualified servicemen and instructors from partner countries. This reform has been implemented, which allowed for disrupting the enemy's plans for rapid offensives in several regions of the country.
Further steps and prospects
The Chief of the General Staff emphasized that personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue, and work is also ongoing to form Storm Troops and Cyber Forces of Ukraine. It is worth noting that Oleksandr Syrskyi announced the beginning of measures for the transition to a corps structure for managing troops early this year.
For several decades, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had corps, but they were disbanded in the 2000s. Now, the restoration of the corps structure will strengthen defense capabilities and enhance the army's effectiveness. Hnatov mentioned that experienced combat commanders will be appointed to the new corps to carry out assigned tasks.
Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully completed the transition to a corps structure, aimed at strengthening defense capabilities and army effectiveness. Personnel changes will continue, and the Storm Troops and Cyber Forces of Ukraine are being prepared to improve military training and respond to modern threats.
