100-year-old twins from Britain reveal the secret to their longevity.
A true celebration of a milestone! Twin brothers William (Bill) and Jack Casey from Great Britain celebrated their century of life. According to them, the secret to such longevity lies in sports. The festive events took place at a nursing home in the town of Didcot. Guests were treated to cake, while the celebrants adorned their heads with inflatable crowns.
The secret of longevity and advice for the young
The older brother, Bill Casey, has been painting and continuing to be active in sports after retiring - doing physical exercises for 20 minutes every day. 'I always dreamed of living to 100 years, and here it is, my goal achieved - now I wait for the next hundred!', - shares Bill.
«The absence of bad habits, a healthy lifestyle, activity, determination, and good genes», - is their answer to the secret of longevity, share the brothers. They advise the young to move more, especially to play cricket.
Life and achievements of centenarians
Bill and Jack were born in London in the Wandsworth area. In 1945, both joined the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Bill met his spouse, Joan, in 1951, married two years later, and their son Martin was born in 1955.
After settling in Sutton, Surrey, Bill worked as an instructor and manager in the government. He became a renowned expert in the field of professional development before stepping into retirement in 1984.
The centenarian brothers from Great Britain, both 100 years old, are an example of a healthy lifestyle, activity, and good genetics. They recommend the younger generation to move more, especially to play cricket, to ensure longevity and good health.
