Russia attacked the Kyiv region with drones: there is damage in five districts of the Kyiv region
On the night of November 3, Russia carried out an attack on the Kyiv region using drones. This caused damage in five districts of the region, and the alarm lasted for 11 hours.
This information was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military-Civil Administration (RMCA), Ruslan Kravchenko.
According to him, the attack resulted in fires in several districts of the region.
"In five districts, we are recording damage due to the fall of the debris of downed targets. At 8:30, glass on the windows and balconies of three residential buildings in three districts was shattered," Kravchenko said.
In addition, five private houses were damaged - broken glass, doors, roofs, and facades.
"In one of the houses, a fire broke out on the roof. This was successfully extinguished. There was also a fire at a building. Three cars were damaged as a result of falling debris from downed targets, one of which was completely destroyed," the head of RMCA added.
Moreover, fires of grass cover and forest litter were extinguished in four districts due to falling debris.
In total, rescuers were engaged in extinguishing fires eight times. One example is the ignition of a passenger car in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka. The fire of a two-story residential building and the roof of an agricultural structure in other villages of the region was also extinguished.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the Russian attack and its consequences. He noted that over the week, Russia had carried out about 900 bombardments, launched 30 missiles and 500 "Shaheds," and also attacked Ukraine with 50 drones, aiming them at civilian objects and critical infrastructure.
Zelensky expressed disappointment in the global community, which is not providing sufficient support in the fight against Russian aggression. He called for effective sanctions against Russia and political decisions that will stop its desire to wage war.
