Frontline Situation

According to UATV: Ukrainian forces have inflicted significant losses on Russian occupying troops in 123 combat engagements recorded since the start of the day on March 3. These intense clashes have resulted in the destruction of enemy personnel and equipment. In the past day alone, Ukrainian units eliminated 790 Russian military personnel and destroyed:

  • 5 tanks,
  • 20 armored combat vehicles,
  • 47 artillery systems,
  • 6 air defense systems,
  • 1 vessel,
  • 235 units of automotive and special equipment.

This daily toll follows a broader pattern of attrition for Russian forces. Throughout the month of February, Ukraine destroyed:

  • 31 tanks,
  • 35 armored fighting vehicles,
  • more than 500 automotive vehicles,
  • 352 artillery systems,
  • 4 anti-aircraft missile systems,
  • 24 multiple launch rocket systems.

Additionally, 21 Russian infantrymen were captured as prisoners of war in February.

Operational Actions on the Front

On the Kupiansk axis, units of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade continue to maintain control of the situation. Meanwhile, on the Konstantynivka axis, Russian troops conducted offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Pleshcheevka, Sofiyivka, and Ilyinivka. The ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine remains characterized by intense positional warfare and localized assaults.

Our warriors continue to deplete the offensive potential of the Russians.

Vladyslav Seleznev

The frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations ongoing across several axes. The substantial losses sustained by Russian forces highlight the effectiveness of Ukrainian defensive positions and tactics. While Ukrainian control on the Kupiansk axis and continued Russian offensive pushes in other regions illustrate the complexity of the military situation, Ukrainian forces continue to demonstrate a capacity for active resistance and the destruction of enemy resources, which may influence the future course of the conflict.
