Discussions on Ukraine at the London Summit

According to Espreso.tv: At the London summit, Italy’s Defense Minister Guido Crosetto addressed the situation in Ukraine and the repercussions of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He emphasized that, despite the challenging circumstances, Ukraine has preserved its statehood and successfully adapted to the demands of modern warfare.

Noting that Russia is losing approximately 30,000 troops each month, Crosetto stated:

Ukraine’s Resilience and International Backing

Since the war began in 2022, Ukrainian territory has experienced continuous shelling without any pause. 'The war will only end when Russia stops bombarding Ukraine for at least 24 to 48 hours,' the Italian defense minister declared.

Crosetto also highlighted that Ukraine 'is still alive; it is strong and makes the war increasingly difficult for Vladimir Putin every day.' These remarks underscore the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the nation’s ongoing efforts to defend its sovereignty.

Crosetto’s comments reflect the international community’s support for Ukraine during this critical period and emphasize the importance of the Ukrainian people’s endurance amid the conflict. The heavy losses among Russian forces and their inability to achieve quick objectives point to a shift in the war’s dynamics, which could influence future developments in the region. It is crucial that global observers continue to monitor the situation and stand with Ukraine in its fight for independence.
