According to Novyny.live: March 12, 2023, marked the 1,478th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. The intensity of the conflict remained high, with 128 combat engagements recorded across the front. Over the past day, Russian forces launched 103 airstrikes, dropped 322 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 9,216 kamikaze drones. They also carried out 3,956 artillery strikes, 49 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In response, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck three areas of enemy troop concentration. They destroyed seven artillery systems, five UAV control points, one command and observation post, and three other critical Russian targets. Total Russian personnel losses for the day amounted to 780 troops. The enemy also lost significant equipment, including:

On the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, one enemy assault and four airstrikes were recorded. A single assault occurred near Prylipka in the South-Slobozhanske direction. In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked three times near Novoplatonivka and Podoly.
The Lyman direction saw six attacks near Drobycheve and Cherneshchyna, while seven attempts to advance were made in the Sloviansk direction. No offensive actions were reported in the Kramatorsk direction. However, in the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 22 attacks near the city of Kostiantynivka. The Pokrovsk direction experienced 24 assault actions, and three attacks occurred in the Oleksandrivka direction near Ternove, Zlahoda, and Dobropillia.
In the Huliaipole direction, 21 attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Novoukrainka, and Zaliznychne. A single combat clash took place near Stepove in the Orikhiv direction. One enemy attack was reported near Bilohrudyi Island in the Prydniprovske direction. On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, no signs of offensive group formation by Russian forces were detected. This war, now in its fifth year, has become Europe's largest conventional conflict since World War II.
