171 Combat Engagements in a Single Day: Russian Forces Intensify Assaults Near Kostiantynivka.

According to UATV: In the past 24 hours, a total of 171 combat clashes have erupted across the front lines, with a notable surge in Russian assaults concentrated around the Kostiantynivka axis. On the Northern Sloboda and Kursk sectors, four firefights were recorded alongside 87 artillery strikes targeting Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements.
Five airstrikes were also directed at Ukrainian positions, while the Southern Sloboda sector saw three attempted breakthroughs. The Kupiansk and Lyman axes each experienced nine separate attacks, and the Sloviansk direction faced ten enemy advances.
Offensive Operations
The Pokrovsk sector witnessed the highest intensity, with 31 offensive maneuvers launched by Russian forces. Additional assaults included:
- 5 attacks on the Oleksandrivka axis
- 21 attacks on the Huliaipole axis
Meanwhile, no offensive actions were reported on the Orikhiv and Dnipro River sectors. The overall situation remains tense as fighting continues unabated.
This sharp increase in combat activity signals an escalating conflict in the region, posing fresh challenges for Ukrainian defenders and civilians alike. As both sides sustain their offensives, the stance of the international community and the possibility of de-escalation talks remain critical factors.
