19-year-old organized illegal border crossing: faces up to 9 years.
According to inkorr.com: In Rivne region, law enforcement officers together with border guards uncovered an organized scheme for the illegal transportation of conscription-age men across the border. The main figure in the case was a 19-year-old resident of Sarny district, who demanded $6500 for transportation. He provided clients with detailed instructions via messengers and offered meetings in certain locations, avoiding checkpoints on his motorcycle.
The police detained the criminal while he was riding his motorcycle, when he received a part of the payment amounting to $1500.
The detainee was charged under the article 'Illegal transportation of persons across the border', which provides for a punishment of seven to nine years of imprisonment.
Stable passenger flow across the border in the summer season
Although the government allowed young men to travel abroad, the passenger flow remains stable. According to the border service data, the number of border crossings has not significantly changed. The summer season contributes to an increase in the overall flow of passengers, especially on weekends and before holidays.

At the same time, the flow of passengers across the border remains stable even in the summer period, indicating an unchanged interest in leaving the country.
