According to UATV: On July 15, 2023, the frontline witnessed 253 combat engagements, marking a significant escalation in Russian military activity, particularly along the Pokrovsk, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, and Gulyaypole axes. During this 24-hour period, Russian troops launched one missile strike involving eight missiles, along with 79 airstrikes. A total of 250 guided aerial bombs were deployed, and 10,559 kamikaze drones were used. Additionally, there were 3,282 shelling incidents targeting populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, as well as 41 attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems.

Ukrainian Defense Forces Respond

Ukraine's defense forces mounted a vigorous response to these assaults. They successfully struck:

  • 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated,
  • three artillery systems,
  • five control points for unmanned aerial vehicles,
  • four enemy radar stations.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 enemy attacks, demonstrating their effectiveness in protecting the territory.

Over the course of the day, Ukraine's defense forces eliminated 1,470 Russian soldiers, one military vessel, over 2,000 drones, 42 artillery systems, 10 tanks, and one air defense system. These figures underscore the scale and intensity of the ongoing combat operations in the region. Ukrainian troops continue to engage across multiple fronts, including the Kupyansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, Dnipro, Volyn, and Polissia areas.
