Strikes Against Russia's Shadow Fleet

According to Espreso.tv: Commander of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) Robert Brovdi has announced successful operations against vessels belonging to Russia's shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. In the Sea of Azov alone, 116 ships linked to this fleet have been identified. In the Black Sea, the day's tally stands at an impressive 20–0 in favor of Ukrainian forces.

During the 'MoLoChKa' operation, which took place on the night of July 13, the following targets were neutralized:

  • 17 oil tankers
  • 2 gas carrier tankers
  • 1 tugboat

Over the course of eight days, the total count of vessels hit reached 105.

He further stated that 'driven by an intolerance bordering on fierce hatred for any encroachment on the Motherland,' the SSO will continue to conduct operations against emerging threats.

Strategic Significance of the Operations

These results highlight Ukraine's intensified military actions in maritime zones that are strategically critical for controlling resource supply lines. Operation 'MoLoChKa' underscores the Ukrainian forces' efforts to combat illegal maritime activities conducted by Russia. Such actions could disrupt regional economic activity and shift the balance of power at sea. For an English-speaking audience, this marks a significant escalation in Ukraine's ability to project force and challenge Russian logistical networks in contested waters.
