According to The Sun: A small resort with white sands, an ancient city listed as a UNESCO site, and beers for less than £2 topped the new ranking of the most affordable fall beach vacations in Europe this year.

Nessebar, located on a peninsula in Bulgaria, took first place in the Cheap Beach Index of budget airline easyJet due to its developed hotel infrastructure and favorable offers on flights and accommodations.

The study analyzed areas that are easily accessible from airports and offer direct flights from the UK. It also considered the costs of a typical 'basket' of essentials such as beer, ice cream, and family meals.

Coming in second place is the Budva Riviera in Montenegro, followed by Costa Almeria in Spain and Costa Dorada.

Next up are the Croatian cities of Nin and Medulin.

Nessebar, Bulgaria

This small resort offers the best of both worlds: golden sands on the South Beach and a wealth of historical sights in the Old Town featuring Roman and Ottoman architecture, 19th-century wooden houses, and cobbled streets.

But it's not just culture here – the resort also has plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a vibrant nightlife.

According to the report, beer costs on average £1.60, and a three-course meal will set you back around £22 for two.
