On its official Telegram channel, the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade shared a video showing military participants joyfully supporting Oleksandr Usyk in his match against Tyson Fury.
This night, the soldiers of the 63rd Brigade did not sleep – they were watching not only the enemy but also Usyk's match. Congratulations on the victory, Sasha! You are the best! Glory to Ukraine!
Let us remind you that Oleksandr Usyk won against Tyson Fury again and defended the titles of the absolute world champion. The fight lasted the full duration and ended with Usyk's unanimous decision victory – 116:112. The Ukrainian thus confirmed his status by defending the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO titles.
Usyk dedicated this victory to his mother and all Ukrainian mothers who have always supported him. He also talked about his sons' victories in judo and vowed to them that he would win as well. The boxer also dedicated this victory to his mother – Nadiya Petrivna.
This is already Usyk's seventh heavyweight fight and the fourth successful defense of his world champion title.
Fury criticized the judges' decision, who voted in favor of Usyk.
I swear to God – I thought I won at least three rounds. I thought victory would be mine again. I was always ahead.
It is also worth noting that on the same day, Ukrainian boxer Andriy Novytskyy won his match. Ukrainian boxer Serhiy Bohachuk also secured victory in his fight. In both cases, the boxers not only defended their titles but also gained new ones.
It is also worth mentioning that Usyk was forbidden to kiss his cross between rounds of the fight.
