Missiles managed to penetrate through several floors of the hotel and fell inside, causing irreparable damage. Even the asphalt next to the building became visible signs of explosions. The parking lot was destroyed, and debris of metal structures lies everywhere.

On June 5, 2025, the 'Black Sea' hotel in Karolino-Buhaz was hit by a missile attack carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Fortunately, at the same time, none of the guests were harmed.
The 'Black Sea' hotel was part of the Black Sea Hotels network, owned by former MP Leonid Klimov. It had 4 stars and 144 rooms. After bankruptcy, it was transferred under the management of the Asset Management Agency and put up for sale.
In 2023, the hotel was attempted to be sold at auction due to debts to depositors of 'Imexbank', but this failed, and the price from 770 million hryvnias fell to 357 million. However, this also did not lead to a successful conclusion of the bidding.
