The popular travel gadget - power bank, which connects to devices for charging, caused a fire on a flight of Air Busan from Seoul. This stimulated airlines worldwide to restrict the transportation of these devices. In particular, Emirates, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, China Airlines, and several other companies have introduced various restrictions, ranging from prohibiting the use of power banks on board or charging them to requiring special packaging for transporting these devices. Such measures are taken to ensure the safety of passengers and prevent similar incidents in the future.
