There are numerous contests offering fantastic prizes, but not all of them are widely advertised. You might not even be aware of such opportunities or think that the chances of winning are minimal.

Psychologist Allison Blackler suggests:

“Participating in contests with large prizes can seem pointless. This is driven by the psychology of perceived odds.”

She explains that we often believe that with a large number of participants, our chances of winning are very low.

However, Julian Kent, the director of sales at the contest management company MRM, assures that

“the prize will always go to someone, even if there is only one participant.”

The most popular prizes are cash, so contests offering them usually have more participants than those offering trips.
