Jet2 opens three new tourist destinations: where Ukrainians can fly.
New destinations from JET2
According to The Sun: The company JET2 has announced three new destinations that will appear in its route from 2026 — two from Greek resorts and one city in Sicily, Italy.
Next summer, Brits will have the opportunity to visit beautiful places, including an “untouched Greek island.”
AlamyMeganisi Island
Meganisi is a small island in the Ionian Sea, located near Lefkada. It becomes an ideal spot for a beach holiday with its crystal blue waters and white pebble beaches.
The best beaches on the island are Limnonari and Fanari, known for their cozy atmosphere. Unlike other Greek islands, Meganisi is less visited and popular among celebrities.
Over the years, the island has been a favorite spot for stars like Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Madonna, Giorgio Armani, and Rafael Nadal.
With Jet2holidays, tourists can stay in three-star and four-star hotels in the resort of Vathy, a picturesque fishing village at the main port.
To reach the island, travelers will fly to Preveza airport on the Greek mainland from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, London (Luton and Stansted), Manchester, and Newcastle. Packages include ferry transfers and transportation, with the program running from April 3 to October 30, 2026.
Olympic Riviera
Jet2 also offers new flights and holidays to the Olympic Riviera in northern Greece. The Olympic Riviera is a beach destination with stunning views of the mountains, located at the foot of Mount Olympus.
Tourists can enjoy hiking through Olympus National Park and explore small towns like Litochoro, where long sandy beaches and clear waters await them.
AlamyFlights to the Olympic Riviera will operate from Thessaloniki airport from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds-Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, and London (Stansted). There are also five resorts available from Jet2holidays that include hotel transfers – the summer program will run from April 3 to October 31, 2026.
News from Palermo
Jet2CityBreaks presents Palermo as a new destination for next year. From May 1 to October 23, 2026, weekly flights will be operated from Newcastle, and from Manchester – twice a week.
Palermo is the capital of Sicily, where there are numerous attractions, from a huge cathedral to market tours such as Ballarò and Vucciria.
Among popular attractions are the Catacombs of the Capuchins and performances at the Teatro Massimo.
AlamyEveryone planning a trip with Jet2 will receive good news, as the airline has made significant changes to its flights, which will benefit families.
AlamyMeganisi is one of the new destinations that Jet2 is offering in the upcoming summer season.
This expanded route, which includes attractive destinations like Meganisi Island and the Olympic Riviera, will be an excellent opportunity for travelers to discover new vacation spots and understand the beauty of the Greek islands. Trips to Palermo will also open new horizons for history and culture lovers.
