The Shahed-type drone was first detected over Moldova at 9:21 PM and disappeared from radar around 10:03 PM. The threat to civilians has remained severe for some time—just days earlier, on the night of March 28, Russian drones struck Odesa again, wounding 12 people and killing two others.
“The enemy has once again attacked the civilian population of Odesa. A fire broke out at the scene, which firefighters quickly put out. According to preliminary information, one person was injured—Oleksandr Kolosiuk.”
A criminal investigation has been launched into the incident, and law enforcement officials are continuing to probe the circumstances of the attack. The situation remains tense, as the risk of similar strikes persists at a high level.
This assault on Odesa is part of an ongoing campaign of aggression by Russia, which has caused numerous civilian casualties. Recent events highlight not only the military threat but also the worsening humanitarian situation in the region, where ordinary residents are bearing the brunt of direct military action. Authorities are pressing forward with investigations, which could serve as a foundation for future measures to prevent such tragedies.
