According to Novyny.live: On March 31, Russian forces launched a drone attack on the city of Odesa, striking a nine-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district. The assault damaged the building’s facade, balconies, and windows from the second through the fourth floors. This incident is part of the ongoing Russian military aggression against Ukraine, which continues to target civilian infrastructure.
One man was injured in the attack and received medical treatment at the scene. According to Serhiy Lysak,
“a man was injured. He received the necessary medical aid on site.”He will continue his recovery as an outpatient. Firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze that broke out as a result of the strike.
This attack occurred just three days after Russian forces damaged seven educational institutions in Odesa on March 28. That earlier assault killed two people and wounded 12 others. The tense security situation in the region continues to alarm local residents.
The March 31 shelling underscores the persistent threat to civilian life in Odesa, with residential buildings and schools being deliberately targeted. These events highlight the urgent need for continued international support for Ukraine as it faces an unrelenting conflict.
