Odesa Region Under Fire: Gas Station Hit in Drone Assault

According to Novyny.live: Russian forces are intensifying their drone-based attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine’s Odesa region. On June 20, a Shahed-type drone struck a gas station in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, sparking a blaze. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Air raid alerts were issued across the Izmail, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Bolhrad districts at 08:31 AM and were lifted at 09:12 AM. To contain the fire caused by the strike, emergency services deployed 13 firefighters and 4 units of specialized equipment. This incident is part of a broader wave of Russian drone attacks targeting the region.

Elsewhere, drone assaults in the Black Sea resulted in the death of one crew member and injuries to five others. It is also worth noting that on June 19, two fuel tankers and one gas truck caught fire in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, further underscoring the threat these attacks pose to civilian facilities and lives.
