Australia issued a postage stamp in support of Ukraine.
The national postal operator of Australia "Australia Post" issued a special postage stamp to support Ukraine. This stamp, created in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, will soon be available for purchase in all post offices of the country. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The initiative to create this stamp arose at the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia, which approached the Australian side with a proposal. The design of the stamp was developed by Australia Post taking into account the recommendations of the Ukrainian side, in particular, JSC "Ukrposhta", the statement said.
The official presentation of the stamp took place on August 24 in Sydney during the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day.
