We see an increase in the number of North Koreans, but we do not see more reaction from partners, - Zelenskyy.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a series of important meetings and consultations on the situation at the front and international support for Ukraine. He reported this in his daily address.
The head of state met with the military leadership, including Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi and Chief of General Staff Barylevych, as well as Minister of Defense Umierov. They discussed the situation on all fronts, particularly in the Donetsk region and the south of Ukraine. Separate issues concerned the Kursk operation, which has been ongoing for three months. Zelenskyy noted that a "sanitary zone" is maintained in certain areas near the Ukraine border. The president also reported the presence of 11,000 North Korean military personnel in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and emphasized the inadequate reaction of partners to their increased numbers.
At the Stake meeting, air defense due to the increased use of Russian "shaheds" and air bombs was discussed. Zelenskyy stressed the need to strengthen mobile fire groups and shoot down drones.
In addition, the president held talks with the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on further support for Ukraine.
