The wife of the CEO of the 'Darnitsa' company, Hlib Zahori, Kateryna Zahoria, appealed to the Ukrainian elite to change their approaches in society. She expressed her position on Facebook.
Kateryna Zahoria believes that wealth in Ukraine is not only associated with money but also with moral stance, involvement, and responsibility. Although criticism of the rich is widespread in society, she understands this attitude and adds that people who have resources should be the focus of the community and bring benefits to society.
Kateryna Zahoria dreams of Ukrainian wealth being associated with hospitals, drones, and the developed infrastructure of the country.
The deepest moral divide
Politician Ihor Lutsenko also noted that the wealthiest and most influential Ukrainians usually do not join in military conflicts. He calls this the deepest moral divide in society.
