The Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny received a collection from the fallen soldier and poet Maxim Kryvtsov. He reported this on social media.
Books are always someone’s soul. In its purest form, even if it is a novel or someone’s story. And one should treat them exactly as one would treat someone’s soul. Sometimes, it happens that they are given to you to try by relatives or close ones, for whom the poet's soul will live forever. This is the story of a soul that I hold in my hands. The soul of a person whom God let come to us not for long. Maxim Kryvtsov. You will live among us for a long Time, because... When I am asked what war is, I will answer without hesitation: names.
The ambassador thanked Maxim Kryvtsov's parents for the collection. He noted that the soldier's mother wrote: 'Every moment of life is priceless.' Zaluzhny urged 'to love your parents every moment.'
Let us remind you, on Sunday, January 7, 2024, it became known about the death of Ukrainian poet Maxim Kryvtsov from Rivne, who volunteered for the war from the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Maxim 'Dali' Kryvtsov was a volunteer in 'Right Sector', and later fought with 'Da Vinci Wolves'.
Shortly before the New Year, Maxim Kryvtsov announced his birthday for his collection 'Verses from the Shooting Hole'.
Kryvtsov wrote a prophetic poem about the death of a soldier before his demise. Kryvtsov published several touching lines, which became his last.
My shot-up automatic will rust away poor thing, my spare things and gear will be passed to newcomers, and I wish spring would come soon so I could finally bloom like a violet
In the comments under the post, friends and acquaintances wrote for the poet to hold on and not to think about death yet, but within two days, dozens of users left comments regarding the author's passing of the prophetic lines.
