Russian missile corvettes deployed near Finland
Near the border with Finland on Lake Ladoga, two Russian missile corvettes of the «Buyan-M» class have been stationed. They are located 30 miles from Finland, near one of the residences of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Observers call this deployment a response to the growing tension between Russia and NATO, especially after Finland's accession to the alliance. In addition to military might, this is also a political signal and a means of controlling the situation in the Lake Ladoga area. The deployment of the ships gives Russia the ability to demonstrate its readiness to defend its interests and respond to any threats.
