Ukraine Prepares Militarization After the Israeli Model: What Biletsky Said.
Commander of the Third Army Corps: Ukraine Must Militarize Society
When there is a ceasefire on the front, Ukraine must militarize its society after the Israeli model. This is necessary to reclaim its territories occupied by Russia.
So said the commander of the Third Army Corps, Andriy Biletsky, in his first major interview for The Times.
How Ukraine Should Utilize the Ceasefire
Biletsky stated that if an unstable peace is achieved, Ukraine must militarize society following the Israeli model. The main goal of this is to reclaim its territories.
'Our military-industrial complex can become a serious driver of Ukraine's economy after the war. We cannot survive on donations and subsidies. Our experience and a large Ukrainian army can be a key component of European security,' he emphasized.
He also mentioned that despite the successes achieved by his brigade, Ukraine 'needs negotiations'. The best option for us is to corner the Russians.
'Negotiations will only be effective when Russian progress slows to zero and losses are high. Only then will they seriously sit at the negotiating table. Until then, any negotiations will only be a delay tactic while they prepare for new offensive actions', Biletsky noted.
Recall that recently Biletsky revealed the successes of the Third Army Corps in Donbass. Despite the enemy's numerical superiority, our military is holding them back in the Borovskyi and Lyman directions.
Also, the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, spoke about Andriy Biletsky. He called him a 'great guy' and noted his contribution to combat, recruiting, and working with personnel.
During the interview, the commander of the Third Army Corps expressed the opinion that in the event of a ceasefire, Ukraine needs to actively militarize society to ensure the country’s security and reclaim occupied territories. He also emphasized the importance of its own military-industrial complex for the economy of the country after the war and expressed readiness for negotiations with the Russians, in case there is no accelerated strategic change in the situation.Read also
