Russians resort to fakes about Pokrovsk: the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed the true situation at the front.

According to ТСН: Active fighting continues in the Pokrovsk agglomeration in Donetsk region. Russian troops are unable to achieve quick successes on the battlefield, so they resort to information attacks, spreading false rumors about the alleged capture of the city to incite panic.

According to the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation in the corps' area of responsibility remains tense. Russians are actively storming the northern part of Pokrovsk, but Ukrainian defenders continue to carry out defensive tasks and successfully hold back the enemy's advance.

Urban battles and Russian lies

Due to the lack of real strategic victories, the enemy resorts to manipulation.

The command is conducting an operation to expand logistical corridors. Despite intense hostilities, over the past week, the Defense Forces managed to conduct several rotations of personnel in the Mirnograd area.

A wide range of forces are involved in the defense of the agglomeration: Airborne Assault Forces, assault units, UAV operators, special operations forces, the Security Service, as well as National Guard and National Police fighters.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a group attempting to refute the fake about the 'capture' of Pokrovsk. The Defense Forces reliably hold their positions, including along the railway line in Pokrovsk.

The escalation of hostilities in the Pokrovsk area indicates the relentless efforts of the Russian army trying to regain the initiative. At the same time, Ukrainian forces demonstrate resilience and the ability to organize defense, striving to maintain control over strategically important territories. This situation remains critically important not only for Donetsk region but also for the overall security of Ukraine.
