Russia Has Not Achieved Significant Territorial Gains in Ukraine
Despite the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the superiority of his army, Russian forces in Ukraine have only achieved minor territorial gains this year against the stiff resistance of Kyiv's military.
According to Bloomberg data, the Russian army has not met the declared goals of the war. The pace of Russia's offensive in eastern Ukraine has decreased, and only 0.15% of Ukrainian territory has been captured since the beginning of the year. Russian forces are advancing significantly slower than their current pace.
