According to inkorr.com: Boris Johnson urged the West to impose stricter sanctions against Russia. The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom advocated for the introduction of tough restrictions and the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. This information was published by the National Association of Defense Industries of Ukraine (NAUDI).

The 'Freedom Summit' continues in London, organized with the support of NAUDI. The event is dedicated to strengthening democratic ties in the fields of security, defense, and technology. In his speech, Johnson condemned Russian attacks on civilians and emphasized that strategically, Russia has already lost this war.

“The people of Ukraine will not succumb to terror, Ukrainians will never surrender, and Putin will never conquer Ukraine,” said Johnson.

He emphasized that Putin continues the war not out of hope for victory, but to preserve his political existence. Johnson urged allies not to seek compromises with the Kremlin.

“The only language he understands is force. You will not change his calculations with either red carpets or concessions. And it is impossible to negotiate territory with a crocodile that is squeezing your neck with its claws,” Johnson emphasized.

Stopping the war through coercive measures

Johnson is convinced that only through force and decisive actions from the West can the war be stopped. He emphasizes the need for additional sanctions and calls for the unfreezing of approximately $300 billion in Russian assets to be transferred to Ukraine as reparations: “This is absolutely legal. If Ukrainians use this money to create or buy weapons – so much the better.”

During the 'Freedom Summit' in London, Boris Johnson stressed the importance of increasing sanctions against Russia and the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, highlighting that only decisive actions can stop the war in eastern Ukraine.
