Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2019 to 2022. He was also the Mayor of London and British Foreign Secretary. Johnson is a member of the Conservative Party and is known as one of the main advocates of the UK's exit from the European Union. He also supported anti-Russian sanctions following the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, he took a pro-Russian position and supported anti-Russian sanctions.
Boris Johnson was born on June 19, 1964, in New York, where his father worked. The family soon moved to London. Johnson was educated at Oxford and worked as a journalist before entering politics. He served as a Member of Parliament from 2001 to 2008 and was Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. In 2019, Johnson was elected leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister.
In 2022, Johnson resigned and was succeeded by Liz Truss. He continued to perform his duties until the new elections and the new leader of the Conservative Party. Johnson has written several books, including an autobiography.

In 2001, he became a Member of Parliament and held various positions in the Conservative Party. In 2008, he was elected Mayor of London. He then became British Foreign Secretary.
For his journalistic work, Johnson was nominated for the British Academy Television Award.
