Bosnia and Herzegovina Becomes Part of the International Coalition

According to Espreso.tv: Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially declared its intention to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. This move underscores the country's commitment to child protection rights and Ukraine's efforts to bring back deported children. The announcement was made by Andrii Sybiha, head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

What the International Coalition Aims to Achieve

Established under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children seeks to unite nations in a common goal: recovering children who have been deported or forcibly displaced. According to available data, at least 20,570 Ukrainian children have fallen victim to deportation by Russia.

Andrii Sybiha stated that 'every new member of the Coalition strengthens our collective ability to act.'

He also emphasized that 'each new participant in the coalition enhances the international community's capacity to address the issue of illegal child removal from Ukraine.' This highlights the critical role of global cooperation in tackling child rights violations, especially during armed conflict.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children reflects growing international solidarity on protecting children affected by war. This initiative could lead to stronger mechanisms for repatriating deported children and better coordination among member states. Sustained global efforts remain essential, as the problem of child deportation persists and demands urgent action.
