According to The Sun: A British father died as a result of drowning when powerful waves swept him into the sea. The 37-year-old man was vacationing with his partner at Freedom Beach in Phuket when suddenly a strong wave struck them, dragging him underwater.

Tourists pulled him ashore on Saturday and attempted to perform CPR, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful.
