According to The Sun: A British tourist is fighting for his life after a knife attack on a beach in Thailand. The 34-year-old man was enjoying a drink at a bar on the popular resort island of Phuket when he was reportedly attacked by another tourist in the early hours of the morning.
The victim sustained multiple injuries and is suffering from severe bleeding.
“Police are investigating the incident and trying to determine all the circumstances surrounding the event,” said a local law enforcement representative.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, his condition is assessed as critical, and doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize him.
This incident has drawn the attention of both locals and tourists visiting Phuket. Authorities have already begun to tighten security measures at popular resorts to prevent similar incidents in the future.
