Current Battlefield Situation in Ukraine

According to UATV: Russia’s occupying forces have deployed more than half of their military assets to the Aleksandrovka and Pokrovsk axes. These two areas have become the epicenters of the conflict, accounting for nearly 60% of all combat engagements along the 1,250-kilometer front line. Military analysts emphasize that the situation in these sectors is critical for determining the next phase of the war.

Meanwhile, in the city of Kostiantynivka—which has suffered extensive destruction and is nearly leveled—an estimated 150 Russian troops are present. Half of the city’s territory is now in a semi-encircled state, further complicating defensive efforts for Ukrainian forces. The cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk also remain under threat, as the Russian army is planning to advance in those directions.

'Russia currently has two priorities: the Aleksandrovka direction and the Pokrovsk direction.' — Ivan Stupak, military expert

Stupak also noted that Ukrainian troops continue to hold their defensive lines despite facing maximum enemy pressure. 'Our soldiers are maintaining their defense even under extreme duress,' he added.

Planned deadlines for occupying territories are constantly being postponed, highlighting the uncertainty and complexity of the military situation. Stupak further remarked that reports of Russian advances—such as claims of approaching Kupiansk—are a clear example of propaganda, noting that 'Putin is telling people that Russian forces are already within two kilometers of the western outskirts of Kupiansk.'

In summary, the front-line situation in Ukraine remains highly volatile, with key axes drawing the bulk of combat activity that will likely shape the conflict’s trajectory. Operational intensity around Aleksandrovka and Pokrovsk could significantly alter the strategic balance of power and affect troop morale on both sides. This underscores the importance of closely monitoring developments in these regions, as they may prove decisive in the near term.
