Discussion of corruption issues in the army

According to ТСН: The head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov held an extended meeting with the leadership of the General Staff, the Ground Forces, the Military Law Enforcement Service, and the heads of law enforcement agencies of the country, dedicated to the problems of corruption in the TCC and the SP, as well as the SChC in the troops.

He announced this on Telegram.

“Corruption in the TCC and SP, as well as the SChC in the troops, are problems that affect our defense capability. I held an extended meeting with the leadership of the General Staff, the Ground Forces, the VSP, and the heads of law enforcement agencies of the country. The agenda includes countering corruption in the TCC and SP and issues of SChC in the army,” he noted.

Budanov also stressed the importance of studying these issues and promised “clear and effective” solutions.

“Abuse of official duties and undermining military discipline is unacceptable,” he added.

Earlier, press officer of the Volyn Regional TCC and SP Ulyana Kravchuk reported that employees of TCC are offered bribes, but, as a rule, they do not accept them.

The discussion of corruption issues in the army takes place against the backdrop of current challenges faced by Ukraine, particularly in the context of war. Increased attention to these problems indicates the government's desire to ensure a more transparent and effective operation of military structures, which is critically important for strengthening the country's defense capability.
