Marco Pierre White's son closes third restaurant: debts reach £150,000.
According to The Sun: The restaurant owned by Marco Pierre White's son in Surrey has closed due to huge debts of £100,000.
31-year-old Luciano has already closed two establishments in recent years.
Luciano's LUCIANO'SLuciano's first restaurant, opened in 2020 in Dorchester, quickly closed.
The second establishment in Exeter, which opened in 2021, closed in May this year after a bankruptcy procedure.
The restaurant in Woking, which started operating in 2022, closed its doors on September 5, when there was only £31.94 left in its bank account.
At the time of closing the last establishment, Luciano's restaurant chain reportedly owed £100,000 to HMRC.
Documents from Companies House also indicate that the chef owes over £150,000 to 26 creditors, reports the Telegraph.
Additionally, Luciano manages Rudloe Arms, which was renovated by his father Marco in 2021.
“Luciano shouted: ‘You are a typical Wowcher customer who won't pay your bill’. How rude and wrong,” the feedback on TripAdvisor noted.
Reviews also highlighted that the chef is “aggressive” and provides “terrible service”.
Luciano was also accused of using a fake name for unhappy customers in the pub.

Closure of other restaurants
Luciano's restaurant is not the only one facing difficulties. Rick Stein's restaurant in Marlborough, Wiltshire, may close due to poor financial performance.
A representative of this restaurant confirmed that consultations are underway regarding its closure and the possibility of avoiding it.
“Our other restaurants and rooms continue to operate successfully, but this establishment does not bring in similar revenue,” representatives stated.
Furthermore, the Michelin-starred venue will close after six years of operation.
Pophams London Fields, which opened as a bakery and Italian pasta concept in 2019, will close on October 30.
Last month, chef Dom Taylor announced the closure of his venue in Ladbroke Grove, West London, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
This Caribbean restaurant started operating just a few months ago, in May, as part of a music and event space UNDR, near the famous Portobello Road.
Restaurant closures complicate the food market situation, which is already facing many difficulties. These events raise concerns among restaurateurs regarding the stability of the industry amid economic instability.
